Dry lining (sometimes known as drywalling) is a process used by plasterers to stick plasterboard to brickwork in internal walls and ceilings using the dot and dab technique. Dry Lining can also be fixed to a timber or metal framework for example in an partitioned wall or new stud wall. Generally Dry lining does not require as much technical expertise as traditional plastering and requires very little water, hence the term ‘dry’ lining.
